Dynamic Rotary Follow-on
The DRF System enables you, in conjunction with a soil sampling hammer, to use your rotary rig to dynamically sample through overburden and then go straight into rotary coring using one casing size for leaner drilling production so you can deliver an in-demand service for your customer. One rig one job with continuous liner samples for the full depth of the hole.
This new system comprises a specially designed drive head with integrated keyways for a stronger more robust coupling and easier head removal, drive collar, spacer rod, sample casing and drive shoe to provide 76, 86, 101, 116 and 131mm core samples.
Class in accordance with BS EN ISO 22475-1:2006 and Eurocode 7

Description
- Heavier duty, heat treated tooling designed for use with rotary rigs
- Use the same rig for dynamic & rotary drilling
- Allows dynamic sampling through overburden with rotary follow-on
- Casing is suitable for rotary drilling, reaming and rotating for easier removal
- Compatible with standard metric casing sizes
- 1.0 & 1.5m lengths tooling available to match the stroke of the rotary rig for higher production rates
- Choice of thread for drive head, drive collar and sample barrel
- Includes ‘C’ spanner making it easier to remove the shoe and the back end of the barrel
- Using the same thread throughout the system means a leaner set up and less complication
