MGS see demand rise for QED pumps and gas analysers
29 January 2025
Since becoming UK partners, geotechnical specialists, MGS, have experienced increasing demand for their range of products from QED Environmental Systems.
In late 2024, MGS began distributing QED’s liquid management pumps and gas analysers under a partnership aimed at enhancing their existing range of products used in drilling, geothermal applications, groundwater management and more.
Since forming the relationship, MGS has reported strong demands for the QED range and is now holding even greater stock to keep up with their customers’ needs.
“When we began working with QED, we knew that their products would be of value to our customer base in landfill gas management, groundwater sampling and other environmental monitoring sectors. However, we have been thrilled by the incredible reception their products have achieved in such a short time.” states Anthony Stupak, Managing Director at MGS.
One of the QED products proving particularly popular for MGS is the Automatic Air Pump range. Engineered for wells as small as 2 inches in diameter, the AutoPump AP2 & AP3 are air-powered, positive displacement pumps, activated by an internal float in response to accumulating liquid.
As of January 2025, products including QED’s AutoPump range will have increased stock to help satisfy MGS’ increasing customer-base.
By distributing QED products, MGS hopes to not only support their own customers with high-quality environmental instrumentation, but also help QED achieve its goal of expanding its UK market presence.
“Through our collaboration with QED, we are ensuring our customers have access to the very best tools available for their geotechnical applications and are now holding even greater stock of the products that count” adds Anthony.
QED are premier manufacturers of monitoring and remediation equipment, precision engineered pumping solutions and gas instrumentation. With operations spanning multiple continents, QED serves environmental markets worldwide and continues to pursue growth into new regions.
Established in 1988, MGS are a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist quality products for use in ground investigation, water well and geothermal drilling applications, railway drainage, landfill gas extraction and more.
For over three decades, MGS have been responsible for major developments within the drilling, geotechnical and environmental industries.
“This partnership has been a fantastic step forward for both companies. Landfill is a necessity, and we want to help engineers everywhere manage it with ease!” concludes Anthony.
